Saw Kick-Ass today and have a new favorite movie. Could not resist doing a quick painting of Hit Girl.

I wanted to do an original pose, but didn't have the time.

Saw Kick Ass again. Twice in two days! Haven't done that in--I can't remember when.

Photoshop CS4, Wacom Intuos. Freehand from reference photo.

Nice job!

The character gets into all kinds of interesting, contorted poses when she fights. Are you going to do another painting of her?

I must admit that I saw Kick-Ass twice at the theatre in one week.

omg love this! hehe I felt the same way. Saw it for the first time last week and absoltuely fell in love with Hit Girl! Wonder Woman has been my all-time favourite Western superheroine for as long as I can remember... but she got replaced last week by Hit Girl. I just can't resist her awesomeness!!!
